"Clay Bar" a Vehicle

 Some vehicles will simply do better if a good "clay bar" application is applied PRIOR to any full washing of a vehicle. Using a "clay bar" will sometimes get material off of the paint that simple washing alone can not provide.

You can usually tell if a vehicle may need "claying" if you have washed an area of a vehicle yet, when you run your hand over the surface, you can still feel what feels like little grains of material still on the surface . . .

The vehicle surface will simply not feel "smooth", even after washing.
